‘Coming home’ to yourself and others

This event is for anyone who is looking for, or has found, a personal development path, and who has an appetite for reaching out from their usual ways of being, to consolidate and deepen their engagement with self and others.

We will inquire into how to move from ‘recovery’ and ‘survival’ towards ‘flourishing’; what this entails in letting go of habitual patterns, taking the risk of reacting less and creating more.

We will engage with each other in a rich variety of ways of being that will enhance awareness of, and capacity for, ‘presence’, ‘being in the now’, ‘the gaze’, ‘erotic eye’ and ‘rapport’. Especially we will take time to look at how we experience our own and others power.

The whole week will be held in a framework of ‘living and working from love’.

Embedding the exploratory and celebratory elements of the week in a culture of living from love has the effect of demystifying a whole range of human intrapersonal and interpersonal quagmires. As participants practice eliminating coercion and dominance from their own behaviour, including where necessary ‘taming their inner tyrants’, and challenging them in others, this leads to a very fruitful integration of the experience everyone has of psychology, politics, sexuality and spirituality.

While the focus of this event is on pleasure, delight, and loving engagement, some participants might be likely to touch aspects of their shadow that intrude into awareness and I would expect to engage effectively with this without allowing it to flood the group time.
